BAM UK & Ireland has an exciting opportunity for an Information Analyst to support the development, optimisation, and maintenance of information within the Kilsyth, Scotland office. As an Information Analyst, you will assist with design data modelling processes, analyse the information, and share insights with peers. The Information Analyst shall work closely with assigned business stakeholders to understand their goals and determine how data can be used to achieve those goals. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide information-driven insights, ensuring the organisation can meet its strategic objectives.
Your team: This role will be based from our office in Kilsyth, Scotland with an opportunity for hybrid working. We would also be willing to consider candidates within the North and North-East Scotland region.
You Will Be Responsible For The Following:
- Identifying and mapping relevant data & information sources for business needs
- Collecting structured and unstructured information & data
- Liaising with project teams, sourcing missing information & data
- Organising information into usable formats
- Building predictive models
- Enhancing the information collection process
- Processing, cleansing & verifying of information
- Analysing information and data for trends and patterns and to find answers to business questions
- Setting up information infrastructure
- Assist in the development, implementation and maintaining information & data bases
- Assess quality of information and design improvement strategies
- Generating information and insights from information sets and identifying trends and patterns
- Preparing reports for executive and project teams
- Create visualisations of information
- Responsibility for ensuring that BAM Nuttall is compliant with all legislation and BAM policies / procedures
- Supporting people engagement in information analytics by creating an environment that embraces a culture of learning, growth and development through performance, inclusion, safety, and wellbeing
- Supporting the development of information analytics to successfully achieve Business Unit, team and individual goals and objectives to achieve and exceed the service delivery requirements
- Create and maintain effective individual and team working relationships with the Business Unit Management Teams, our key clients and their representatives
- Understand existing customer relationships and their requirements and developing strategies to ensure they are being met
