BAM UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced and motivated Site Engineer to join our team to work on the ASTI Framework. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of delivering major civil engineering projects that will provide essential infrastructure to support future renewable energy developments across Scotland.

The successful candidate will initially be based at our area office in Kilsyth, Scotland, during the pre-construction phase. The projects are expected to move to site between now and 2027, thereafter you will be required to be based on site around Inverness-shire.

As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Supervision of assistant engineers
  • Ensure that the drawings and specification documents contain sufficient, accurate information for construction of the works
  • Complete inspection and test plans
  • Maintain material reconciliation figures for reporting
  • Ensure that material delivery tickets are passed on for cost coding
  • Carry out testing/sampling of materials
  • Maintain survey books

Qualifications required:

  • Degree, HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent NVQ Level
  • CSCS Level - Academically or Professionally Qualified Person/Supervisory/Manager
