BAM UK and Ireland are now recruiting a Finance Systems Analyst to join our finance team from our Hemel Hempstead office.
Making Possible- Review, analyze and prioritise Helpdesk calls to ensure the delivery of quality 2nd and 3rd line support.
- Mentor and assist junior staff on more complex issues.
- Work with the team to ensure processes and documentation are kept up to date.
- Produce & maintain detailed, high-level work plans covering full project life cycle - initiation, design, development & build, test, integration, transition & launch.
- Analyze support issues to identify common themes and opportunities for potential improvements with a drive towards SAP standard.
- Assist user Administration, Master Data, and pre-defined standard changes (PSC’s).
- Assist with the delivery of project initiatives following a clear delivery methodology.
- Assist with training and the sharing of SAP expertise with the user community and the wider business.
- Liaise with Royal BAM Group’s internal and 3rd party business partners (mainly based in the Netherlands).
- Keep abreast of industry processes and system developments.
- Manage SAP Security & Authorizations for BAM UK&I.
- Undertake group internal and external SAP & Financial System process/access audits.
Your team
Expected to work on a regular basis from our Hemel Hempstead office and travel frequently between locations as required.

What do you bring to the role?
- Understanding & Hands‑on experience with supporting SAP modules involving FI/CO, PS, MM, SD, Workflow and interfaces with 3rd Party Applications to SAP.
- Knowledge of S/4 Hana to help deliver our future roadmap.
- Knowledge of Change/Incident Management Process ideally using SAP Solution Manager (ChaRM).
- Effective and confident team player.
- Excellent written and oral communication – including to ‘non-experts’.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Methodical approach to analyzing problems.
- Well organised demonstrating clear process and documentation for delivering change.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point etc.
- Motivated by the impact systems improvements can have on the operation of businesses.
