BAM FM is recruiting a cleaning operative for Tudor Grange Kinghurst Academy in Birmingham. This is a term‑time only position (42 weeks per year) requiring 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The role reports to the Premises Manager and includes occasional holiday‑period cleaning. Pay: £12.21 per hour.
Duties:
- Cleaning in accordance with the premises specification.
- Clean floors, walls, partitions and internal woodwork as appropriate.
- Clean toilets, changing rooms and other sanitary areas.
- Collect and dispose of waste appropriately.
- Clean and maintain waste bins.
- Refill and replace consumables.
- Report faulty equipment and other maintenance requirements to the appropriate person.
- Lock rooms after cleaning.
- Ensure lights and other equipment are switched off as appropriate.
- Promote and ensure the health and safety of staff and visitors at all times.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and COSHH procedures.

You will work with a team of cleaners in a school environment, in a challenging and continuously changing setting within a forward‑thinking organisation.
