This role is offered as a 2-year fixed-term contract, ideal for professionals looking to contribute to a major infrastructure project with a clear project timeline.
The Transpennine Route Upgrade is a multi-billion-pound, transformative, long-term railway infrastructure programme that will improve connectivity in the North. The TRU West Alliance is delivering a key part of this upgrade that will increase capacity and provide space for millions more passengers in the north every year.
Your mission
To support the operation of the BAM Labour Desk, including administration, coordination of information and communications between delivery teams, the Works Superintendent and the commercial teams.
Who are we looking for?
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience using Microsoft systems including Excel, Email and Word.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Proficient in the application and use of information technology including databases.
- Willingness to work in a collaborative environment.
- Full clean driving licence and access to a car. Willingness to travel between construction sites.
- Office/site working 5 days a week. No opportunity for flexible working.
Desirable
- Experience of working in construction project delivery.

Responsibilities
- Collating the labour requirements from the site supervision as required.
- Inputting the site labour requirements into the Native system daily.
- Reviewing the output of CVs from Native and sending to site teams and the Works Superintendent.
- Produce weekly and monthly reports as required.
- Carry out other relevant duties from time to time.
