We are currently looking for a Production Supervisor / Team Leader to join our clients team based in Weston Super Mare.

The Role

A hands‑on supervisory role responsible for supporting the day‑to‑day coordination of workshop production, manufacturing operations and warehouse activities. The position combines operational oversight with practical involvement in the operation, stock control, despatch, quality control and team coordination to ensure production targets, quality standards, and operational deadlines are achieved safely and efficiently. The role acts as a key link between workshop operations, warehouse logistics, and management, supporting workflow planning, material control and health & safety compliance across the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and coordinate day‑to‑day workshop and production operations to ensure schedules and operational deadlines are achieved.
  • Supervise and support workshop and warehouse staff to maintain efficient workflow, productivity, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate goods in/out processes, despatch preparation and stock movement activities.
  • Monitor material usage and support stock control, inventory management and procurement activities.
  • Ensure all products meet company and customer quality standards through effective quality control procedures.
  • Maintain accurate production, stock and operational records.
  • Ensure the workshop and warehouse areas remain clean, organised and compliant with health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate production progress, operational issues and maintenance requirements to management.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing workshop or production environment.
  • The ability to collaborate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality and HR to achieve objectives.
  • Experience supporting production planning or warehouse scheduling.
  • Knowledge of stock control, goods despatch and inventory processes.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety procedures within an industrial environment.
  • Good organisational and communication skills.
