We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client's growing team based in the Avonmouth / Bristol area. This is a varied, hands-on role that combines Class 2 driving duties with general site support, including basic groundworks, material handling, and assisting operational teams on-site. The position would suit someone who enjoys being active, working as part of a small team, and taking pride in getting the job done properly. Trainee Drivers are welcome to apply. If you've recently gained your Class 2 licence or have limited experience, our client is happy to provide additional support and training — including HIAB training for the right candidate.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Delivering materials and equipment safely to operatives and site locations
- Assisting with loading, unloading, and material handling
- Supporting teams with basic groundworks and general labouring duties
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring loads are secured correctly
- Completing transport paperwork and delivery records accurately
- Working safely and professionally at all times
What We're Looking For:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Comfortable with manual work and working outdoors when required
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well within a team
- HIAB experience is beneficial but not essential — full HIAB training can be provided
