Building a sustainable tomorrow
BAM UK&I are looking for a Business Change Manager to support our ERP project on a FTC for 24 months to work on a hybrid basis from any of our UK&I offices
Your mission
Accountable for the development and implementation of the SAP Programme Change Management Strategy . Ensures that change impacts as a result of the new processes and tools are clearly articulated, stakeholders are informed and mitigating readiness plans implemented. Supports the business with their transformation objectives.
- Develop and implement a programme Change Management Strategy
- Conduct change impact assessments identifying key areas of change in all functions
- Initiate and perform ongoing dialogue with executives and functional directors on change impacts, and jointly explore options for resolving issues.
- Analyse the organisation\’s change capability and commitment, identify transformational change journey risks and dependencies.
- Engage HR teams in key people and organisational changes to develop employee and union consultation reports and plans (where applicable). Ensure appropriate actions to address challenges are undertaken
- Define the business readiness approach and plan and track readiness to go live addressing key areas of need or resistance
- Build change networks in countries and functions to act as an extension of the Change Management and Country Transformation teams – championing the change and supporting the successful implementation of the Programme into local teams.
- Develop approach and content for communicating new business processes (business process awareness) highlighting key changes for core function roles (Personas). Ensue delivery via BPOs and monitor effectiveness.
- Analyse and monitor stakeholder engagement ensuring country, regional and functional leadership are informed and engaged in the S4/Hana journey
- Develop and implement a change management strategy for the project including training, communications, and stakeholder engagement.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with all project stakeholders, including sponsors, senior management teams, segment leads and all other relevant parties.
- Be accountable for the on-time production of all deliverables across change management.
- Carry out thorough change impact assessment to fully understand how each stakeholder group will be impacted and the resulting training and support requirements.
- Work closely with the Training Lead, ensuring they have all relevant information in a timely manner to deliver their plans.
- Collaborate with the Communications Lead and other stakeholders to create engagement and communication plans, ensuring they align with the overall project plan, transformation strategy and business objectives.
- Collaborate effectively with the implementation partner and ensure activities remain on plan.
- Identify and assess potential risks and highlight issues associated with the changes and develop mitigation plans.
- Provide information and guidance to Transformation Partners throughout the change process to help embed the change across the segments and enabling services.
- Ensure an effective approach to business readiness is agreed to monitor and report on the progress of change delivery, identifying any potential areas for additional support
Who are we looking for?
- Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
- Acute business acumen and understanding of organisational issues and challenges.
- Experience with large-scale organisational change programmes enabled by SAP (ideally S/4 HANA).
- Experienced in managing within matrix organisations
