Document Controller in Aberford

BAM UK & Ireland is recruiting a Document Controller to join our Construction Segment, based in Ilkley.

Responsibilities

• Information Management: Managing the controlled flow of drawings, models and technical information through the project Common Data Environment (BAM Source/BIM360/ACC) in line with ISO 19650/PAS1192 standards.
• Focus on managing the flow of contract-led information and process within the common data environment, handling formal instructions, queries, variations, project registers, general correspondence, and supporting procurement and site administration processes.
• Supporting the project team to ensure it has audit‑ready QA and compliance records with structured ISO‑aligned handover and digital project close‑out.
• General Site Administration.

Qualifications

• Excellent computer skills and willingness to expand knowledge of other applications.
• Demonstrable experience of working within a similar role in construction.
• Preferred user of electronic document management system (EDMS) and live link.
• Preferred user of BIM/Navisworks; familiarity with BIM as a concept and its place within the industry.
• Excellent level of literacy and writing skills.
• Good time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Team player, flexible, and able to work with others.
• Excellent communication skills.
