b Overview /b p As Trading Platform Engineer, you will own production reliability for a high-performance, low-latency trading platform. You’ll collaborate with trading, Quantitative Researchers, and engineering to keep real-time systems stable, well-instrumented, and responsive to front-office needs. You drive incident response, monitoring improvements, and automation to reduce operational risk. You’ll shape observability and operational standards while supporting live trading workflows. This role offers hands-on production engineering in a fast-paced financial technology environment with a strong emphasis on reliability and incident discipline. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Provide production support for a high-performance, low-latency trading platform in a live trading environment /li li Monitor system health, workflows, and platform behavior to ensure reliability and rapid issue detection /li li Respond to production incidents, drive triage and resolution across trading, development, and infrastructure teams /li li Support front-office users by investigating trading issues and answering workflow questions in time-sensitive situations /li li Own and improve monitoring, alerting, telemetry, and operational dashboards across the trading platform /li li Develop and enhance automation, runbooks, and operational tools to reduce operational risk /li li Perform root cause analysis on production issues and drive follow-up actions to improve resilience /li li Support release processes, change management, and controlled production rollouts /li li Monitor data quality, platform behavior, and workflow exceptions across trading and market data processes /li li Partner with engineering teams to improve recoverability, observability, and operational readiness of trading applications /li li Help define and maintain operational standards, support procedures, and production controls /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Strong experience in production engineering, SRE, or application support within real-time or trading environments /li li Experience supporting business-critical production systems with urgency and ownership /li li Strong understanding of monitoring, observability, alerting, incident management, and root cause analysis /li li Experience supporting front-office users in a fast-paced environment /li li Strong troubleshooting skills across application and system behavior in a Linux environment /li li Strong attention to detail, operational discipline, and focus on platform stability /li li Ability to work effectively with trading, Quantitative Researchers, and software engineering teams /li li Scripting or automation experience in Python or similar /li /ul ul li strong ownership /li li calm under pressure /li li clear communication /li li monitoring and observability /li li incident management /li li root cause analysis /li /ul
