Contact: Loretta Lam Job ID: REQ8437Overview Support an investment team by developing cross-commodity views across gas, oil, metals, and related markets.

The role will focus on identifying structural themes, relative-value opportunities, and macro-driven dislocations, supported by supply-and-demand analysis and fundamental research.

Responsibilities Develop cross-commodity market views including gas, oil, metals.

Identify structural investment themes, relative-value opportunities, and links between commodity markets, macroeconomic drivers, and geopolitics.

Build and maintain targeted supply-and-demand balances, price frameworks, and market dashboards.

Analyse inventories, production, trade flows, refinery economics, power demand, positioning, and market structure.

Generate actionable trade ideas across outright, spreads, curves, and inter-commodity relationships.

Build Python- and Excel-based research tools, datasets, and signals.

Requirements5+ years of experience in cross commodities research or investment analysis.

Familiarity with energy and metals markets; cross-commodity perspective required.

Ability to combine fundamental analysis with macro, positioning, and market-structure analysis.

Strong quantitative and modelling skills, including Python.

Experience building supply-and-demand balances and translating analysis into trade-relevant conclusions.

Clear written communication, commercial judgement, and the ability to work in a fast-paced investment environment., Degree in economics, finance, engineering, maths, or a related quantitative discipline.
