Balyasny Asset Management (BAM) is creating a new function to elevate the end user experience across the firm. We are seeking a hands-on leader to manage a small team of engineers dedicated to delivering a seamless, delightful, and secure technology environment for every BAM employee. This team will own the platforms and services that power our daily work—laptops, desktops, mobile devices, authentication, conference rooms, and collaboration suites (Slack, O365, Zoom, and more). You will work closely with engineering and support teams to ensure our core user platforms are intuitive, reliable, and a pleasure to use. As a Manager, End User Engineering at BAM, you will:
- Lead and inspire a team of engineers focused on the holistic end user experience
- Own the strategy, architecture, and execution for all end user platforms and services
- Champion user experience, ensuring our technology is frictionless, modern, and empowering
- Partner with engineering, support, and business teams to deliver solutions that anticipate and exceed user needs
- Drive continuous improvement in device management, authentication, collaboration tools, and conference room technology
- Develop and enforce standards for usability, security, and reliability across all user-facing platforms
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies to keep BAM at the forefront of workplace innovation
- Participate in on-call rotation and operational support as needed

- Experience working closely with support and engineering teams to deliver holistic solutions
- Familiarity with scripting or automation (PowerShell, Python, etc.)
- Experience in financial services or similarly demanding environments is a plus
