Join our Technology Portfolio Manager Support team, dedicated to empowering Portfolio Managers (PMs) and Analysts with world-class technical solutions and timely, hands-on support. As a member of the team, you will have the opportunity to work with, educate users, and become an expert in a variety of Platform and Cloud Services. This business-facing, high-impact role offers exposure to front office, investment workflow, technology, and infrastructure teams within a premier multi-strategy fund. Key Responsibilities- User Enablement & Support: Act as the primary point of contact for PMs and Analysts, providing high-touch support, training, and enablement for BAM's Platform services and infrastructure.
- Platform Guidance: Educate developers and researchers about the platform technology landscape, training on and facilitating the use of AWS, Airflow, Coder, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Terraform, and more to build, test, deploy, run, and observe.
- Workflow Automation & Best Practices: Collaborate with analytics and engineering teams to automate data workflows, improve knowledge bases, and educate users on data-driven best practices.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Connect stakeholders across the firm to identify solutions, champion product enhancements, and share knowledge globally.
- Incident Management: Deliver high-quality, proactive incident management and service delivery, ensuring timely resolution of user issues and continuous improvement of support processes.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Math, or related field (or relevant equivalent experience).
- Strong knowledge in Linux operating systems and Python.
- Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and clear stakeholder communication (both written and verbal).
- Familiarity with cloud, automation, and/or database concepts (with willingness to broaden skill set across tracks).
- Experience in a hedge fund, investment bank, or commodities environment.
- Familiarity with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ), CTRM/ETRM platforms, or major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
