We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commodities Technology Senior Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in bridging the gap between our business needs and technology solutions within the commodity trading and risk management domain. This role involves analysing business processes, identifying requirements, and implementing technology solutions to enhance our CTRM systems.
Commodities is one of the newest and fastest growing businesses at BAM, rapidly onboarding new markets and staff around the globe to grow financial and physical trading capabilities. The Senior Business Analyst will work collaboratively across departments to support business growth through innovative technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply knowledge of Endur modules for Europe and UK energy trading and operations.
- Partner with global trading offices to standardise processes and solutions.
- Analyse current business processes, identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
- Design, develop, and improve reports for stakeholders.
- Assist in the implementation and configuration of commodity trading software and integration.
- Execute test plans to ensure systems meet business requirements.
- Create reference materials and provide training and support to end users.
- Create and maintain functional and technical documentation.
- Support stakeholders and the application support team when issues arise.
- Stay updated on industry trends and recommend technological improvements.
Work Experience:
- 10+ years of hands-on Endur product experience.
- 10+ years of EU and UK energy markets and trading products experience.
- Experience in trading product modelling, position and logistic management, valuation, P&L, risk, and credit exposure modeling.
- Engagement with stakeholders across front, middle, and back office.
- Developing processes and solutions leveraging Endur, capturing business problems and requirements.
- Experience working with trades and market data throughout the trading lifecycle.
