We are seeking an experienced Benefits Manager to join our team. This role will oversee the day-to-day management of employee benefit programmes across the EMEA region and APAC regions. This position encompasses both strategic and operational responsibilities, ensuring the effective delivery of benefit initiatives. This role is critical to ensuring our benefits offering is competitive, compliant, and aligned with the needs of a high-performing workforce in a fast-paced hedge fund environment.
The Benefits Manager will partner closely with HR, Finance, Payroll, Legal/Compliance, and external vendors to deliver a best‑in‑class employee benefits experience. The successful candidate will bring strong technical knowledge in international benefit programs, together with a commercial mindset and excellent stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities- Help shape a benefits proposition appropriate for a sophisticated, performance‑driven financial services population.
- Oversee day‑to‑day administration of benefits programmes, which may include pension arrangements, private medical insurance, dental, life assurance, and income protection, holiday and leave policies, salary sacrifice and other voluntary benefits.
- Monitor service levels, resolve escalations, and participate in periodic vendor reviews and renewals.
- Ensure accurate enrolment, eligibility, billing, and reconciliation processes.
- Maintain benefits documentation, policies, and controls in line with audit and governance standards.
- Support data privacy and confidentiality requirements in handling sensitive employee information.
- Develop clear and engaging employee communications for annual enrolment, new joiner onboarding, policy updates, and ongoing education.
- Serve as subject‑matter expert for employees and managers on benefits matters.
- Drive employee understanding and appreciation of the full value of the firm’s benefits offering.
- Gather employee feedback and use data to improve programme design and experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in benefits, preferably within financial services, asset management, investment management, or another high‑performance corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of EMEA and APAC benefits.
- Experience managing third‑party benefits vendors, consultants, and brokers.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
