About The Role

Location: Flexible base – Leeds / Warrington / Derby (with regular site presence across the UK). Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery of multiple projects, from work‑winning through to completion.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing the delivery and performance of multiple projects, including full P&L responsibility
  • Leading safety culture and driving Zero Harm
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships, managing change and expectations
  • Ensuring compliance with Balfour Beatty procedures, policies and governance
  • Managing external consultants, subcontractors and supply chain partners
  • Driving operational excellence through planning, risk management, project controls and Lean principles
  • Championing sustainability initiatives, including waste, energy and water efficiency
  • Using BIM, Lean Visual Management and digital tools to optimise delivery and safety
  • Providing clear, robust reporting on progress, risk and performance to senior stakeholders
  • Supporting repeat business and long‑term client partnerships through excellent delivery

Who we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in Contracts or Project Management within the construction sector
  • Strong leadership capability with the confidence to influence, motivate and lead teams
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑management skills
  • Sound commercial and financial awareness
  • Experience (or strong understanding) of Lean construction principles
  • Knowledge of contract conditions and change control processes
  • A valid CSCS card
  • Relevant professional or technical qualifications (desirable)
