Interim Scheme Manager – Women's Supported Housing 3/6 months contract | ASAP start £250/270 per day Inside IR35 West Midlands On‐site working 3–4 days per week CVs are being reviewed immediately, and interviews will be taking place week commencing 18 May 2026.
You will step into a highly visible, impactful role at a critical point of change. As Interim Scheme Manager – Women's Supported Housing, you will report into a senior leadership team and take operational responsibility for a complex 24/7 service supporting women with multiple and entrenched needs.
You will lead established day and night teams, oversee rotas and on‐call escalation, and ensure safe, legally robust delivery across a multi‐property scheme supporting around 17 residents. This is a pilot appointment with real influence. You will shape how social care and safeguarding expertise is embedded into supported housing, with clear review points and genuine potential to extend or convert to a longer‐term solution.

Your role as Interim Scheme Manager – Women's Supported Housing:
- Operational leadership of a 24/7 women's scheme, including rota management, on‐call escalation and staff supervision
- Safeguarding & legal oversight, applying the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act and multi‐agency duties
- Quality & compliance, ensuring risk assessments, incident reporting and support plans are robust and current
- Staff support & supervision, promoting reflective practice and trauma‐informed delivery
- Partnership working with health, social care, safeguarding and specialist providers
Your previous experience as Interim Scheme Manager – Women's Supported Housing:
- Strong background in social care, safeguarding or supported housing, ideally with formal qualification
- Proven experience working with women affected by trauma, substance use and multiple exclusion
- High legal literacy, confident navigating safeguarding thresholds and statutory frameworks
- Credible people manager, able to lead diverse teams in pressured environments
- Hands‐on and resilient, comfortable balancing strategic oversight with operational detail
