I am currently working with a South Coast based Local Authority in their search for an experienced Local Government Adult Social Care Safeguarding professional for a 12-month contract to join as their Team Manager.

Overview:
Reporting to the Principal Social Worker, this opportunity involves managing and leading the council\’s safeguarding, quality assurance, and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) team.
As the council focuses on delivering their Adult Social Care Strategy, this role is vital in ensuring the quality of services for CQC inspection and leading the provision of high-quality services to residents.
To be considered for the Safeguarding Team Manager role, you will have/be:
- Qualified Social Worker with Social Care England Registration
- Experience in safeguarding within a local authority adult social care setting
- Line management experience in previous roles
