Reporting into senior leadership, you will have real influence over practice standards, decision‑making and outcomes, while developing a resilient, high‑performing multi‑agency team. Your Role as Service Manager MASH:
- Lead and develop a high‑pressure Front Door and MASH service during transformation
- Drive quality and consistency in decision‑making, thresholds and risk management
- Oversee statutory interventions including Section 17 and Section 47 activity
- Embed a child‑centred practice model with reflective supervision at its core
- Strengthen multi‑agency working across health, police and education to meet timescales
You will set clear expectations, support practice improvement and ensure performance consistently meets statutory requirements, while fostering a culture of learning, accountability and continuous improvement.
Your previous experience as Service Manager MASH:
- Qualified social worker, registered with Social Work England
- Proven leadership experience within safeguarding, front door or MASH services
- Strong knowledge of the Children Act 1989, Children Act 2004 and Working Together guidance
- Track record of service improvement in fast‑paced, high‑risk environments
- Resilient and confident leader able to support, challenge and develop staff
