Your Role as Service Manager – Child Protection:
- Lead across referral & assessment, social work and permanency, ensuring safe and effective delivery
- Drive performance management & service improvement, delivering against key safeguarding targets
- Provide strong leadership & oversight to managers and frontline teams
- Ensure quality assurance & compliance with statutory requirements and legislation
- Manage budgets, contracts and multi-agency partnerships to strengthen outcomes
Your Previous Experience as Service Manager – Child Protection:
- Proven leadership within statutory children’s services at senior level
- Strong track record in safeguarding, performance & service improvement
- Ability to lead at pace, influence stakeholders and manage complex challenges
- Experience of multi-agency working and partnership collaboration
- Confident in overseeing budgets, contracts and operational delivery
