As Head of Housing Works, you will report directly into the Director, taking ownership of a large in‑house delivery service of over 400 staff and an annual budget of circa £33m.
You will be trusted to stabilise, modernise and drive performance across repairs, maintenance, compliance and planned works for a significant housing portfolio. Joining at the point where a newly designed structure moves from concept into delivery, you will have the opportunity to shape culture, standards and ways of working from the ground up, leaving a legacy that delivers consistent, high-quality outcomes for residents.
Your role as Head of Housing Works:
- Lead a large direct labour organisation and supply chain, ensuring safe, compliant and value-for-money delivery.
- Drive performance, productivity and planning, embedding a right‑first‑time culture.
- Act as an intelligent supplier, translating commissioning priorities into effective operational delivery.
- Lead service modernisation, making best use of data, systems and mobile working.
