As a Senior Children’s Services Reporting Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality management information, financial intelligence, and performance reporting that supports operational leaders, finance teams, and service improvement programmes.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a major transformation initiative focused on reporting redesign, data quality, dashboard development, and business intelligence. You will have the opportunity to work across complex Children’s Social Care datasets, helping shape reporting frameworks that drive meaningful outcomes for children, families, and communities.

Your Role as Senior Children’s Services Reporting Specialist:

  • Lead the development and enhancement of complex Power BI dashboards and reporting suites
  • Deliver SQL development, data extraction, modelling, optimisation, and reporting solutions
  • Produce statutory, operational, strategic, and management reporting from Liquidlogic Children’s Social Care (LCS) and ContrOCC
  • Develop performance frameworks, KPIs, scorecards, and management information to support service improvement
  • Integrate operational and financial data, providing valuable insight on placements, expenditure, forecasting, and performance trends

Your Previous Experience as Senior Children’s Services Reporting Specialist:

  • Strong hands‑on experience with Liquidlogic Children’s Social Care (LCS) and/or ContrOCC reporting environments
  • Advanced knowledge of Power BI, dashboard redesign, reporting rationalisation, and performance reporting
  • Proven expertise in SQL querying, troubleshooting, data modelling, and reporting development
  • Experience producing Children’s Services reporting across CIN, CP, CIC, Care Leavers, Family Help, and Early Help services
  • Background delivering reporting and business intelligence solutions within a Local Authority Children’s Services environment, including statutory returns and performance management reporting

This contract will suit experienced reporting specialists who can quickly add value, engage confidently with stakeholders, and support reporting transformation programmes from day one. The ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights for operational and strategic decision-making will be essential.
