Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of property safety compliance across a diverse housing portfolio.
- Act as the technical expert across fire safety, asbestos, water hygiene, and more.
- Drive audit, governance and risk management, ensuring full regulatory adherence.
- Oversee contract management, procurement and performance frameworks.
- Provide strategic leadership to teams, fostering engagement, accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership in property compliance within social housing or local authority settings.
- Strong technical knowledge across HS legislation, building regulations and safety compliance disciplines.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, contracts and large‑scale programmes.
- Experience leading high‑performing teams and driving sustainable service improvement.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and present complex information clearly.
