Looking for an opportunity where you can make an immediate impact across safeguarding services? As the Interim Service Manager – Multi-Agency Child Protection Team (MACPT), you will take the lead within a developing multi-agency safeguarding service, providing operational and strategic oversight across Children’s Social Care and key safeguarding partners. Reporting into senior leadership, you will play a pivotal role in driving high-quality child protection practice, strengthening multi-agency relationships, and ensuring positive outcomes for children and young people.

Your Role as Interim Service Manager – Multi-Agency Child Protection Team (MACPT):
- Lead and develop a high-performing safeguarding service across a complex multi-agency environment
- Provide oversight of Strategy Discussions, Section 47 Enquiries and Child Protection Planning
- Drive quality assurance, service improvement and practice development across the service
- Strengthen partnerships with Health, Education, Police and wider safeguarding agencies
- Champion Families First reforms, Signs of Safety principles and collaborative safeguarding practice
Your Previous Experience as Interim Service Manager – Multi-Agency Child Protection Team (MACPT):
- Significant leadership experience within Children’s Social Care and Child Protection Services
- Strong knowledge of Child Protection procedures, statutory safeguarding responsibilities and multi-agency arrangements
- Proven track record managing Team Managers, Social Workers and multidisciplinary teams
- Experience delivering service improvement, performance management and quality assurance frameworks
- Previous experience operating at Service Manager, Group Manager, Head of Service or equivalent senior level
