Are you an experienced Senior Project Manager looking for an opportunity to lead a high-profile regeneration and environmental programme? This is an exciting interim assignment where you will provide leadership for the delivery of a major programme, overseeing Phase 1 completion, shaping Phase 2 development and driving ambitious Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) initiatives.
Your Role as Senior Project Manager:
- Lead delivery of a high profile regeneration and environmental programme, ensuring successful completion of Phase 1 and progression of Phase 2 proposals
- Drive Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) projects, habitat creation initiatives and wider ecological programmes
- Manage consultants, budgets, risks, governance processes and programme reporting to senior leadership
- Build strong partnerships with organisations including environmental agencies, wildlife organisations, consultants and local stakeholders
- Develop business cases, funding bids and investment proposals to secure future project funding opportunities
Your Previous Experience as Senior Project Manager:
- Proven track record delivering complex regeneration, environmental, infrastructure or place-based projects
- Strong understanding of Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG), environmental compliance, ecological mitigation and habitat creation
- Experience preparing reports and presenting recommendations to senior leadership and decision-making boards
- Knowledge of planning processes, project approvals, feasibility studies and commissioning specialist consultants
- Previous experience within a local authority environment and delivery of parks, open space or nature-based projects is highly desirable
