SEND Project Manager: Expert at Hand

This Project Manager opportunity offers the chance to lead a high-profile SEND pilot.
Reporting to the SEND Reforms Senior Transformation Manager, you will take ownership of implementation, stakeholder engagement, programme governance and delivery, ensuring the pilot is successfully launched and positioned for future rollout.
Your Role as Project Manager
- Lead the implementation and mobilisation of a major SEND pilot across 36 primary and secondary schools.
- Drive delivery plans, milestone tracking, risk management and programme governance.
- Coordinate education, health and local authority partners to achieve key programme outcomes.
- Support the implementation of Team Around the Setting (TAS) arrangements and inclusive practice initiatives.
- Produce highlight reports, evaluation evidence and impact reporting to support future rollout plans.
Your Previous Experience as Project Manager
- Proven track record delivering complex transformation, change or SEND-related programmes.
- Strong stakeholder management experience across multi-agency environments.
- Excellent programme governance, reporting, risk and issue management expertise.
- Experience working with schools, education services, local authorities or public sector organisations.
- Ability to analyse performance data, drive improvements and deliver results within challenging timescales.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring schools are fully engaged, mobilisation activities are delivered successfully, programme risks are effectively managed and robust evidence is gathered to inform future decision making.
