Reporting into the Head of Assets, you will play a crucial role in assessing and implementing energy-efficient upgrades to our housing stock. Your expertise will help reduce carbon footprints and improve the living conditions for our residents.
You will perform detailed assessments of properties to identify opportunities for energy-efficient upgrades, such as insulation, solar panels, and other sustainable technologies.
Your Role as a Retrofit Surveyor:
- Conduct detailed surveys of properties to identify opportunities for retrofitting.
- Develop and manage retrofit projects from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with contractors, architects, and engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
- Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
- Provide technical advice and support to residents and stakeholders.
- Carry out site visits as required for Retrofit.
Your previous experience as Retrofit Surveyor:
- Proven experience in building surveying, particularly in retrofit projects.
- Proven experience in wall installation, PV soles & solar panels.
- Experience of the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF).
- Strong knowledge of energy efficiency measures and sustainable building practices.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications in building surveying or a related field.
