We are currently working with a Housing Partnership to appoint an experienced Project Manager to lead retrofit and decarbonisation projects under the (SHDF). Reporting into the Head of Assets & Delivery, your role will be pivotal in driving energy-efficient upgrades, creating sustainable, low-carbon homes that align with government decarbonisation targets.
In this role, you will ensure projects meet sustainability and decarbonisation targets aligned with SHDF goals and net-zero 2050. You will oversee procurement, monitor performance, and manage relationships with contractors and stakeholders.
Your role as Project Manager - Retrofit/Decarbonisation:
- Lead retrofit and decarbonisation projects, including the Energiesprong initiative, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Provide technical advice on energy efficiency, low-carbon heating, and renewable solutions.
- Ensure projects comply with environmental standards, statutory regulations, and SHDF funding milestones.
- Track financial drawdown and ensure compliance with procurement processes.
Your previous experience as Project Manager - Retrofit/Decarbonisation:
- Experience with heat pumps, solar PV, and other renewable technologies.
- Familiarity with EPCs, Building Regulations, and Decent Homes Standard.
- Strong communication skills, particularly in addressing resident concerns about energy efficiency works.
- Achieving energy efficiency and decarbonisation targets, contributing to the organisation's sustainability goals.
- Experience and knowledge in SHDF, Retrofit, Decarbonisation, energy & housing.
