We are looking for a proactive and experienced Repairs and Maintenance Lead to manage day‑to‑day operations for a large housing portfolio. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders and frontline teams to ensure homes are safe, compliant and well‑maintained.
Your role as Repairs and Maintenance Lead:
- Lead day‑to‑day operations across responsive repairs and void works
- Coordinate and manage contractors to deliver quality, cost‑effective outcomes
- Carry out site inspections focusing on safety, quality and compliance
- Oversee work schedules and performance, ensuring service standards are met
- Support service improvements and complaints investigations with practical, evidence‑based input
Your previous experience as Repairs and Maintenance Lead:
- Strong social housing background with technical knowledge of property maintenance or construction
- Senior supervisory or management experience in a fast‑paced repairs environment
- Sound understanding of contract management, health & safety and compliance
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, balancing multiple priorities
- Proactive, solutions‑focused approach when working with customers and stakeholders
