Your role as Fire Safety Technical Lead:

  • Provide strategic technical leadership across fire safety, design compliance, and risk management.
  • Deliver independent assurance on FRA actions, contractor performance, and fire safety systems.
  • Lead incident investigations and drive lessons learned across the organisation.
  • Review fire strategies, designs, and technical submissions ensuring compliance with key standards (ADB, BS9991, BS5839).
  • Influence senior stakeholders through expert advice, escalation of risks, and performance insights.

Your previous experience as Fire Safety Technical Lead:

  • Strong knowledge of construction, compartmentation, and fire protection systems.
  • Proven experience with Fire Safety Order 2005, Fire Safety Act 2021, and Building Safety Act 2022.
  • Background in contractor oversight, compliance auditing, and fire safety programme delivery.
  • Experience working with Fire & Rescue Services and regulatory bodies.
  • Professional qualifications and memberships (IFE, IOSH, CIOB or equivalent).
