Interim Housing Asset Management Lead

Contract:3 months (with potential to extend)
Rate:£450 – £520 per dayInside IR35
Location: UK-based (flexible travel required)
Start:September 2025

An exciting interim opportunity for a senior housing professional to lead strategic investment planning across a large housing portfolio. This role sits within the Housing Leadership Team and oversees the Housing Capital Investment Team.

Key Focus Areas:

• Delivery of 100% Stock Condition and HHSRS surveys
• Development of multi-year investment programmes
• Implementation of a £12M Warm Homes Scheme
• Creation of a new Asset Management Strategy
• Oversight of procurement, compliance, and contract performance
• Financial planning, risk management, and business case development
• Leadership of housing development, regeneration, and capital projects
• Horizon scanning and bid preparation for external funding

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong background in housing, construction, or asset management
• Proven leadership and programme delivery experience
• Knowledge of CDM regulations, housing legislation, and procurement
• Relevant built environment qualification (Level 6 or above)
• Professional membership (e.g. RICS, CIOB, CIH) desirable
• Experience working in politically sensitive environments
