£595 per day, Inside IR35
London, Hybrid Working – 3 days per week on-site

As Head of Parking & Mobility Services, you will report into the Director of Public Realm and take ownership of a major operational portfolio, leading strategic service delivery, transformation programmes, financial performance and stakeholder engagement across a complex and highly visible function.

Your Role as Head of Parking & Mobility Services
- Lead the strategic direction, performance and transformation of parking operations, associated functions and school crossing patrol services.
- Drive continuous improvement programmes, service modernisation and innovative ways of working.
- Manage substantial budgets, income generation objectives and overall financial performance.
- Act as the senior adviser on legislation, policy, compliance and best practice.
- Build influential relationships with elected members, senior leaders, regional partners and external stakeholders.
Your Previous Experience as Head of Parking & Mobility Services
- Senior leadership experience within local government or a highly regulated public service environment.
- Proven track record delivering large-scale service transformation, operational improvement and organisational change.
- Strong financial and commercial management experience, including budget accountability and contracted services.
- Extensive experience leading large teams, improving performance and developing high-performing cultures.
- Comprehensive knowledge of parking legislation, customer-focused service delivery and stakeholder management.
