Your role as Chief Procurement Officer:
- Strategic leadership of procurement and commissioning activity aligned to organisational priorities

- Oversight of major programmes including construction frameworks and dynamic marketplaces
- Value for money and governance, strengthening controls while enabling innovation and insourcing
Your previous experience as a Chief Procurement Officer:
- MCIPS qualified or equivalent senior‑level experience
- Proven leadership of a large public sector procurement function with significant spend
- Deep knowledge of public sector procurement legislation and regulatory frameworks
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing senior leaders and elected members with confidence
- Track record of transformation, embedding business partnering and modern procurement practices
