As a Children's Placements Contract & Quality Officer, you will be instrumental in strengthening provider relationships while holding them to account on quality, compliance, and outcomes in addition to the negotiation of placement costs and best value. Your role as Children's Placements Contract & Quality Officer:
- Performance management – analyse data, challenge providers, and drive measurable improvements
- Contract oversight – lead on monitoring, compliance, and ensuring value for money
- Quality assurance – design and implement robust monitoring frameworks
- Stakeholder engagement – build strong relationships across providers and partners
- Strategic input – support commissioning decisions using benchmarking insights
Your experience as Children's Placements Contract & Quality Officer:
- Proven background in Children's Placements (Contracts & Quality)
- Previous experience within a Local Authority setting, Children's Placements team
- Experience in contract management & monitoring across multi-agency settings, Residential and Fostering providers
- Strong ability to interpret data, reports, and performance metrics
- Knowledge of quality assurance and evaluation frameworks
