SEN Tribunal Officer London £380 per day 4 Month Contract – 5 Days per week £380 per day 1-2 days on Site – Can be flexible with this Inside IR35 We currently working with a council based in London who are seeking an experienced SEN Tribunal Officer for an initial 4 month contract. Interviews are to be held from 26th November – with the aim to get the applicant started before Christmas Within this role as a SEN Tribunal Officer, you will be working closely with the Head of Service and Assistant Director. In order to be considered for this role, you must have a proven track record working as a Tribunal Officer within a local authority. You will also have experience of presenting at appeals and a good knowledge of SEND, as well as understanding the SEND Code of Practice. Key responsibilities will include:- Considering appeals Drafting the LA’s response to appeals Preparing and collating evidence Liaising with witnesses and representing the Council at final hearings The role of SEND Tribunal Officer will also include liaison and advice with locality SENAR teams and in this role, you will be supported by business support officers.
