This busy local authority is looking for additional interim support to lead their cutting-edge collaborative commissioning programme to improve supply and existing stock of supported housing within Adult Social Care.
Your role as a Senior Commissioning Manager:
- Leading the development of a commissioning strategy of supported housing for adult’s social care
- Working closely with social landlords to improve the overall quality of the offering
- Identify opportunities to develop proposals for new supported housing schemes
- Identify and access funding streams to support improvement work
Your previous experience as a Senior Commissioning Manager:
- In depth knowledge of supported housing within adult social care
- Sound knowledge of commissioning models and partnership arrangements between social landlords, service providers and local authorities
- Proven experience of commissioning major contracts and making changes to service provision to improve quality and standards
