You will manage the full EHCP process, ensuring high-quality, person-centred plans, statutory compliance and effective multi-agency collaboration.
Your Role as SEND EHCP Officer:
- Manage assessments, plan writing, reviews and consultations across allocated settings.
- Produce and maintain high-quality, person-centred EHCPs co-produced with families and partners.
- Oversee a caseload matched to the number and complexity of plans, meeting all statutory deadlines.
- Attend reviews where appropriate and meet termly with SENCOs to monitor progress and emerging needs.
- Build strong relationships with schools, health, social care and wider agencies.
- Use digital systems to track provision, maintain accurate records and support data-informed decisions.
Your Previous Experience:
- Experience working with partners, ideally in a multi-agency environment.
- Experience within SEND and understanding of statutory SEND processes.
- Strong knowledge of SEND legislation, statutory guidance and local policies, including safeguarding and inclusive education.
- Understanding of education, health and care services and how multi-agency working informs holistic assessments.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload, prioritise effectively and maintain accuracy under pressure.
