Part Time 3 months Interim Contract (View to extend) £280 per day (Via Umbrella) Inside IR35, Full Time South West London – Local Authority (Remote Working) Part Time – 3 days a week.

We are looking for 2 Part Time SEND Case Officers with a strong background in Early Years and PFA who can work with this busy Local Authority 3 days per week. Within this role, you will be at the heart of our commitment to providing personalised and effective educational plans for children with SEND.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with the Early Years and PFA team
  • Conduct thorough assessments of children and young people to develop and review Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Collaborate with educators, healthcare professionals, and families to tailor support that meets each child’s unique needs.
  • Regularly review and update EHCPs in line with statutory guidelines and each child’s developmental progress.
  • Support and guide families through the SEND assessment process, ensuring transparency and clear communication.
  • Stay current with SEND legislation and policies to guarantee that our practices meet legal standards and best practices.

Experience:

  • Experience with managing an Early Years and PFA Caseload
  • Proven experience in managing SEND processes, including EHCPs.
  • Strong understanding of SEND legislation and statutory guidance.
  • Extensive experience in quality assurance, auditing, and reporting, preferably in an educational or social care setting.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and inspire colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to analyse complex information and provide clear, actionable insights to improve service delivery.
