9 month interim contract Inside IR35 – Β£800-Β£900 per day South Coast, Local Authority – Hybrid working June start

Due to upcoming Devolution plans, this Devolution Joint Committee are looking for a senior experienced Devolution Programme Director to engage with district and borough councils as well as other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and effective transition into a new Local Authority.

Your duties as Programme Director - Devolution:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive programme plan
  • Prepare reports and documentation for the Devolution Joint Committee and supporting infrastructure
  • Coordinating of a strategic portfolio and reporting of programme status and activity, managing risks
  • Working with senior leaders and stakeholders across the area

Experience needed as Programme Director - Devolution:

  • Strong experience with senior programme management within local government
  • Relevant Change Management qualification or skills and experience
  • Experience in establishing or transitioning to new governmental structures, such as combined authorities
