Are you an experienced Principal Health & Safety Coordinator looking for your next interim challenge? This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established Construction Safety Team and play a pivotal role in supporting the safe delivery of maintenance, refurbishment and capital works programmes across a diverse property portfolio. As Principal Health & Safety Coordinator, you will be at the heart of driving compliance, influencing positive safety behaviours and ensuring statutory obligations are met across a wide range of construction-related projects. Working closely with operational teams, contractors and senior stakeholders, this role offers the opportunity to make a visible impact from day one. Your Role as Principal Health & Safety Coordinator: • Provide expert advice on CDM Regulations, construction safety and compliance • Lead on site inspections, audits, contractor monitoring and compliance reviews • Support accident and incident investigations, identifying root causes and corrective actions • Review risk assessments, method statements and construction safety documentation • Support and deputise for the Construction Safety Manager while driving a positive safety culture Your Previous Experience as Principal Health & Safety Coordinator: • Strong Health & Safety experience within construction, housing, property, engineering or maintenance environments • Demonstrable knowledge of CDM Regulations and construction safety management • Experience undertaking audits, inspections and contractor performance management • Ability to confidently challenge, influence and engage stakeholders at all levels • NEBOSH, IOSH, NVQ Level 5/6 Health & Safety qualification or equivalent professional accreditation This Principal Health & Safety Coordinator opportunity offers the chance to work on high-profile programmes within a large and complex environment where your expertise will directly support operational delivery and continuous improvement.
