As a Child Protection Chair, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding practice, quality assurance and care planning for children and young people.
Reporting into the Service Manager for Quality Assurance, you will be at the centre of complex decision-making, driving best practice, challenging poor performance and ensuring children's voices remain at the heart of every plan.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Child Protection Chair to join a high-performing service and influence outcomes from day one.
Your Role as Child Protection Chair
Chair Child Protection Conferences and Independent Reviewing Officer meetings, ensuring statutory compliance and effective decision-making.
- Champion the voice of the child, ensuring plans are SMART, outcome-focused and responsive to individual needs.
- Lead on quality assurance, undertaking audits, reviews and inspections to drive continuous improvement.
