Are you ready to step into a pivotal Commissioning Manager role where you’ll drive multiple high-profile Adult Social Care programmes through their final governance hurdles? You’ll steer complex options appraisals, shape procurement-ready projects, manage extensions, and lead critical commissioning work — all while influencing transformation, efficiencies, and market management outcomes. Your Role as Commissioning Manager:
- Lead options appraisals through to full governance sign-off
- Drive sensory services and carers’ services through remaining governance and procurement stages
- Manage structured project cycles, ensuring tender-ready documentation for a May release
- Oversee reviews and extensions for Carers Support Services and DP Employment Support
- Lead commissioning for an extremely complex bespoke care package for a Jan 2027 discharge.
Your Experience as a Commissioning Manager:
- Strong background in governance management and procurement decision pathways
- Proven track record working with procurement teams and multidisciplinary stakeholders
- Experience preparing governance papers, options appraisals and procurement documentation
- Skilled in market management, ASC transformation and identifying savings opportunities
- Confident leading complex commissioning activity across multiple service areas
