Head of SEN and Inclusion

Head of SEN and Inclusion £550-£600 per day Inside IR35 Full time- 3 days on site per week (Hybrid) 6 month contract South Coast England Due to an upcoming change in structure this council needs an experience Head of SEN and Inclusion to support the Assistant Director of SEND and Inclusion. You will be in charge of the SEND & Inclusion improvement plans at the county level and provide strategic leadership. You may need to deputise for the Assistant Director of Education and Skills when required. You will provide strategic leadership and high operational standards to build strong and trusting partnership-based relationships with all educational settings About the Head of SEN and Inclusion; * To lead and drive the delivery of the SEND & Inclusion Strategy working with SEND commissioning with health and social care * To work collaboratively with senior colleagues across the local authority and school leaders and stakeholders across the education service * Co-produce the permanent strategy for the service Your previous experience as a Head of SEN and Inclusion; * Drive service improvements alongside meeting statutory obligations to schools and early years settings * Experience at Head of Service level with SEND * Self-motivated, highly organised and passionate about inclusion and outcomes for children and young people If you’re interested in discussing this opportunity in more detail or know someone who this may be of interest to, please contact Athena on (phone number removed) or apply today.
