What you’ll do

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our apprenticeship offerings across various sectors.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with employers, educational institutions, and stakeholders to promote our services.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling promotional materials and campaigns that highlight our apprenticeship programs.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to represent Balticapprenticeships and build valuable connections.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients and partners, showcasing the benefits of our apprenticeship programs.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to management on progress and areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure a seamless onboarding process for new apprentices and employers.
  • Assist in the development of strategic partnerships that align with our organizational goals and enhance our service offerings.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to both apprentices and employers, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
  • Stay updated on relevant legislation and best practices in apprenticeship training to ensure compliance and quality standards.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our business development processes and strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within the education or training sector.
  • Strong understanding of apprenticeship programs and workforce development initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other business development tools to track leads and manage relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • A proactive approach to problem‑solving, with a focus on achieving results.

Nice to have

  • Experience in the apprenticeship sector or knowledge of relevant legislation and funding opportunities.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and tools to enhance business development efforts.
  • Previous experience in a customer‑facing role, particularly in a B2B environment.
  • A relevant degree or professional qualification in business, marketing, or a related field.
