Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside a growing civil and structural engineering consultancy in the Wetherby area. Due to sustained growth and increasing demand, they are now seeking Structural Engineers either at a junior level or senior to join their experienced team and play a key role in maintaining the exceptional standards the business is known for. The practice works on a broad range of residential, commercial, and industrial developments across the UK, providing practical and commercially focused engineering solutions. With a strong workload and a steadily growing client base, this role offers an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to further develop both their technical ability and project experience within a supportive and progressive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will contribute to the design and delivery of a variety of projects, including:
- Residential housing schemes.
- Steel frame and portal frame structures.
- Foundation and substructure design.
- Reinforced concrete and masonry design.
- Structural assessments and technical reports.
- Liaison with architects, developers, and contractors.
Key Requirements:
- Around 1-2 years’ experience within a structural engineering consultancy (Junior Level).
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng or MEng).
- Progress towards ICE or IStructE chartership (desirable but not essential).
- Experience with design software such as Tekla Tedds, MasterSeries, or similar packages.
- Knowledge of Eurocodes and UK Building Regulations.
- Good communication skills and an understanding of commercial project delivery.
The Package:
- Salary: £35,000 – £60,000, depending on experience.
