Baltic Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Stores Clerk position at a client location in Darlaston on a temporary contract of 3‑6 months.
Responsibilities
- Ensure stock integrity is maintained and safety stock levels are adhered to.
- Achieve timely and cost‑effective stock replenishment.
- Sourcing of components by raising RFQs on existing or new suppliers based on the requestor’s specification or part number.
- Raise purchase orders through the plant’s ERP system.
- Comply with plant KPI’s, targets and objectives such as cost reduction, cost avoidance, CIS, supplier reduction, payment terms, and automated orders.
- Provide supplier escalation support to the requested departments.
- Ensure all components are covered by a purchase order/agreement prior to delivery or commencement.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with ERP systems.
- Previous experience in a similar stores or warehouse role.
- Strong communication skills and a solid work ethic.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Commitment to 37 hours per week, 8 am to 4:30 pm.
- Experience with automotive storekeeping is highly beneficial.
