Baltic Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Stores Clerk position at a client location in Darlaston on a temporary contract of 3‑6 months.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure stock integrity is maintained and safety stock levels are adhered to.
  • Achieve timely and cost‑effective stock replenishment.
  • Sourcing of components by raising RFQs on existing or new suppliers based on the requestor’s specification or part number.
  • Raise purchase orders through the plant’s ERP system.
  • Comply with plant KPI’s, targets and objectives such as cost reduction, cost avoidance, CIS, supplier reduction, payment terms, and automated orders.
  • Provide supplier escalation support to the requested departments.
  • Ensure all components are covered by a purchase order/agreement prior to delivery or commencement.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency with ERP systems.
  • Previous experience in a similar stores or warehouse role.
  • Strong communication skills and a solid work ethic.
  • Ability to work unsupervised.
  • Commitment to 37 hours per week, 8 am to 4:30 pm.
  • Experience with automotive storekeeping is highly beneficial.

Salary is negotiable (annum), with an hourly rate dependent on experience.

Employment duration is 3‑6 months.
