Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for several press operators for a well-established automotive manufacturer based within the Sunderland area. This role is located on the new IAMP estate.
Duties:
- Set up and operation of a 3000T Press
- Work towards standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Quality inspection of parts
- Understand and carry out production-based TPM
- Comply with emergency-based procedures (intervention procedure)
- Work to and promote 5S
- Carry out tasks safely and adopt a safety-first approach to daily tasks
- Contribute to maintaining and improving health and safety standards
- Work to meet production-based targets
- Completion of production-based documentation
- Support training and development
Shifts:
- 07:00 - 15:10 Monday to Friday (15:00 finish on a Friday)
- 15:10 - 23:20 Monday to Thursday (15:00 - 23:00 on a Friday)
39 hours per week. Overtime will also be available most weeks.
Pay Rates:
- £13.67ph across both shift patterns
- Overtime throughout the week and Saturday - £18.31ph
- Overtime on a Sunday - £24.42ph
