Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for several press operators for a well-established automotive manufacturer based within the Sunderland area. This role is located on the new IAMP estate.

Duties:

  • Set up and operation of a 3000T Press
  • Work towards standard operating procedures (SOP)
  • Quality inspection of parts
  • Understand and carry out production-based TPM
  • Comply with emergency-based procedures (intervention procedure)
  • Work to and promote 5S
  • Carry out tasks safely and adopt a safety-first approach to daily tasks
  • Contribute to maintaining and improving health and safety standards
  • Work to meet production-based targets
  • Completion of production-based documentation
  • Support training and development

Shifts:

  • 07:00 - 15:10 Monday to Friday (15:00 finish on a Friday)
  • 15:10 - 23:20 Monday to Thursday (15:00 - 23:00 on a Friday)

39 hours per week. Overtime will also be available most weeks.

Pay Rates:

  • £13.67ph across both shift patterns
  • Overtime throughout the week and Saturday - £18.31ph
  • Overtime on a Sunday - £24.42ph
