Description
Baltic Recruitment is supporting a global leader in automotive electronics manufacturing with the appointment of a Supply Chain Specialist (FTC). This role operates globally, coordinating crisis management and material allocation across multiple international sites to maintain continuity of supply for raw material components.
Key Duties
- Manage global allocation of constrained materials across manufacturing sites and business units.
- Coordinate allocation activities with Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics and Product teams worldwide.
- Monitor supplier performance and lead recovery plans during global supply shortages.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve critical supply chain issues.
- Lead global supply chain improvement and logistics projects.
- Produce weekly management reports on supply risks, allocation status and recovery actions.
- Represent the business in global allocation meetings and crisis management forums.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance global supply chain resilience.
- Minimise production disruption across the global manufacturing network.
- Reduce customer delivery delays through effective material allocation and crisis management.
- Improve supplier performance and continuity of supply.
- Control expedited freight costs while maintaining service levels.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or Materials Planning within manufacturing, automotive or electronics.
- Experience managing suppliers and improving logistics processes in a global environment.
- Strong analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Advanced Excel skills; SAP experience preferred.
- Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Compensation
£45,000 – £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Employment Details
6‑month FTC with potential 3‑month rolling extensions. Hybrid working arrangement: 2–3 days in the office, remaining days working from home.
