Do you have Factory/Production experience and a Counterbalance FLT License? Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Production Operator, working for a client located in West Auckland. Due to the industry my client work in, candidates must be comfortable and happy to work in a very ‘dirty’ work environment – full PPE will be provided, including masks must be worn when processing. Although, FLT duties is a part of the role it is only going to be 10-15% of your duties. The role is working chemical powders, measuring and weighing them to a specific formulation/recipe and involves a considerable amount of manual handling as these powders are packed in 20/25kg bags and they are to be weighed out to meet the correct formulation and loaded into hoppers. Because a large amount of these powders are graphite’s of some description, the job is very dirty. You will also need to be able to record daily production and other paperwork tasks and be able to load and unload wagons as well as follow daily housekeeping tasks. Loading and unloading wagons of incoming and outgoing goods and collect the correct raw materials from the warehouse and this is where the FLT license is necessary.
