Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a leading engineering consultant based in the Northeast, offering solutions for transport planning, highway design and many more areas to clients across the UK. As part of their ongoing growth, our client is now recruiting for a CAD Technician with Highway experience to join their team in Gateshead.
The Successful candidate will be assisting with the production of highway designs including calculations, drawings and specifications to relevant local and national highway standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver highway design solutions for both public and private sector clients.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, external partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Complete assigned tasks in line with agreed budgets and project timelines.
- Produce reports, drawings, schedules, cost estimates, and supporting documentation.
- Support senior team members with programme tracking and financial reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Experience with or understanding of ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG.
- Highway experience.
- Salary: £30,000 - £40,000.
